Should I Wear My Obama Shirt to Vote?
NO!! You shouldn't wear your Obama shirt to vote. In some places there are anti-electioneering laws: shirts, buttons, etc. may be included in that.
The ACLU posted about this a few days ago on Daily Kos. They reported that people have been told that they can not wear their Obama gear, and they then had to go to their car and turn their shirts inside out to go vote early. There is some contention about it all, but the ACLU position is, why risk it? Wear something else.
I, therefore, will wear something blue, instead of one of my Obama shirts or my nifty little Obama button that I got from Moveon.org., and go and vote tomorrow for Obama.
Thank God this election is almost over...

I had my Obama button in my pocket while I voted. Made me feel good to have it there, and I was able to put it on right next to my "I voted" sticker after I left the polling location.
That's what I am going to do too!
My husband thinks I'm a political geek...
Yes We Can!!
I saw an article from the Houston paper that said a woman voted in her bra and another polling person told a lady she couldn't wear her shirt from a vacation to Sewerd Alaska.

I understand the reasons for the law, but really? A vacation/tourism shirt? And I LOVE the bra story.
