Banned Bush Interview

Have you seen this interview? A couple of years ago, President Bush was interviewed by an Irish reporter who didn't back down from his trite, simple answers to her questions. This interview was never aired in the States. Look--you'll see why.

Why can't our press ask questions as fearlessly?

You might think you are not buying things but you obviously have bought into the Obama rhetoric.

I'm surprised that you think Bush's responses are trite and simple. I thought they were quite good actually. Do you really think that you would have the peaceful, choice-filled life that you have if Bush had done nothing after 9/11? I wonder what our lives would be like now.

Abu Ghraib was a sanctioned place of torture in America's name, perpetrated by American soldiers. Not close to being any of the traditional American values that Bush so glowingly likes to speak about. Completely unacceptable and doesn't make us a bit safer here in the States and makes us more hated worldwide. Not good.

Bush let Bin Laden go--he fought the wrong war. Saddam Hussein had nothing to do with 9-11. There are despicable rulers now--worse than Hussein--and we're doing absolutely nothing to prosecute them. Nothing.

I do believe that Clinton had the chance to catch bin laden and he let him go...so, now, Bush is cleaning up the mess from Clinton. No surprise there!

Go Bush! you ROCK!

Wow. Just when I thought that man couldn't get any more irritating... And by the way, how many times did he say - or demand for her to, "just let me finish!" Not a very charming president now is he?

Actually I think he did a decent job considering the reporter made it difficult for him to finish his answers. Like the rest of the media she was more interested in pushing her agenda than hearing what the President had to say.

Hi anonymous. Platitudes do not a coherent, decent policy make. He was BSing. I think it's perfectly OK for a reporter to interrupt him when he goes on and on talking about the great values of America.

She's asking about WMDs. She's telling him about 4 soldiers dead on the ground--he wasn't used to a reporter being so forthright--it's not their job to be cheerleaders for him. It's the press' job to hold his feet to the fire and call BS when they hear it.

And as a country we give lots of aid because of our size, but we are 18th on this list in terms of aid assessed by capita. 18th. Not quite the generosity espoused by the President.

I call BS.

Check out how we stack up as a country in terms of giving aid to the world,
